Meet the Team

Darlene Cook

Executive Director

Darlene is a strong leader, dedicated to both residents and staff making Rosemark an extraordinary place to live and work. She has been in Healthcare since 2004, starting in Case Management in skilled nursing. From the beginning there has always been a passion in her heart for Healthcare Administration. Her education includes an associate degree in physical therapy from Pima Medical Institute, she then completed her bachelor’s in healthcare administration, and later a master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Darlene has a passion for senior living, she doesn’t feel that she chose this path, but senior living chose her. She is always open to receiving a call from residents, resident family members and those looking to move to Rosemark. Feel free to reach out to her anytime at 303-770-7673 and ask for Darlene.

Andrea Nichols

Business Office Manager

As the Rosemark® Business Office Manager, Andrea manages the human resource functions as well as some accounting functions at Rosemark®.

She has been working in the healthcare field for the past several years. She started her career as a caregiver and a certified medication assistant.

She moved into administration to continue to learn and pave her career in senior living. She is passionate about ensuring all residents are treated with respect and dignity.

Gina Martinez

Resident Services Director

Gina is a Colorado native who brings an impressively extensive 20+ year background in senior care to our team. Gina specializes in staff recruiting, retention and training along with Dementia care planning, creating and implementing care systems that previous companies still practice.

Gina credits her mother with being a true role model in her life. She recalls her mother always telling her, “If you are going to do something, do it well. Stick to doing what is right by people by always being ethical, kind and caring.” Working in health care over the years Gina has been rewarded by the simple fact of helping others. Gina states, “it is much more than a paycheck; it is a smile of gratitude even when it can’t be spoken, a glimmer of relief in the eyes of someone when you are able to hold their hand and tell them it will be okay.”

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her sister and nephew soaking up the Colorado sun and cooking for her friends and family.

Sara Welborn

Resident Advisor

Sara chose to help seniors after her father moved into a Senior Living Community. His life was so enhanced by the experience that he, a life-long introvert, became an ambassador helping others make the transition into senior living.

“Leaving your home of many years is a very traumatic experience and entering a senior living community is often filled with anxiety. I hope to ease the transition for our residents. Senior living has so much to offer after passing over these hurdles. I love seeing the joy in a life that blossoms here at Rosemark® ! Our gifted caring staff is inspiring and nurturing and I am proud to be a part of this community. “

Sara has a background in finance and sales. She enjoys art, music and the Colorado outdoors!

Ashlie Weddell

Culinary Services Director

Chef Ashlie has a passion for flavor and a mission for spreading kindness. Professionally trained, she completed her degree at Oregon’s Culinary Institute in Portland, and she brings with her over 12 years of leadership experience in the culinary field. Ashlie combines her technical qualification with her heart for people to curate and design special and varied menus for everyday meals as well as special events. She works directly with residents to create specially crafted meals with attention to specific dietary needs, respect, and, most of all, flavor! In her work at Rosemark, Ashlie has found the missing piece of her food journey.

Blane Webster

Director of Maintenance & Housekeeping

Blane is originally from the south and brings 40+ years of construction related experience to Rosemark® , which includes being certified in mold and water mitigation as well as OSHA safety. His firm knowledge of building maintenance and management has proven to be a great asset to Rosemark® . Blane has really enjoyed his time at Rosemark® and loves connecting with the residents. He thrives on making our residents happy whether it’s hanging their pictures on the wall or enjoying a joke together. He finds it rewarding to serve seniors.

Blane has lived in Colorado for the past 18 years and enjoys the mountains and the great outdoors. He resides in Conifer with his wife, Brenda and their dog, Gracie. As a hobby, he enjoys woodworking, especially building birdhouses.

Amy Mathias

Resident Advisor

As a Rosemark resident advisor, Amy guides older adults and their families in finding the Rosemark services and accommodations that best fit their needs. With a background in programs and admissions for a local senior housing nonprofit, Amy could not be better equipped for the task.

“I was attracted to the Rosemark community because of the physical beauty of the building,” she said, “and the respectful, thoughtful and responsive nature of the management and staff.” She is passionate about meeting seniors many and varied needs and learning about their diverse and rich backgrounds.

Amy has a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. She is a Denver native, married with three children and enjoys skiing, volunteering and reading a good book!
