Vanessa comes to Rosemark with significant experience leading assisted living communities along the Front Range. Although she had many choices, Vanessa was attracted to our independent community, knowing she could help residents thrive in an intimate setting.

Vanessa was born and raised in Napa Valley, California. When Vanessa’s grandmother started showing signs of dementia, she moved to New Mexico to help care for her. Vanessa has experienced first-hand the progression of this disease, along with its ramifications on the rest of her family. She describes her grandfather as her role model and best friend. He has now followed Vanessa, and is currently living in Colorado Springs.

Before entering the senior living field, Vanessa owned a health-related business, served as a relationship manager for a highly successful community college, and worked as director of operations for a large property management company.

A Colorado transplant since 2013, Vanessa and her husband are thrilled to be raising their boys in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. Her weekends are spent hiking, four-wheeling and soaking in high-country hot springs.

All of Vanessa’s experience has culminated in becoming the leader she is today. Her driving mission is to maintain a culture of resilience for those requiring varying levels of care and to cultivate a resident-directed community for older adults, families and team members.

Jennifer Mausolf
Assistant Executive Director

With more than 15 years in healthcare, both as a certified nursing assistant and as a business specialist, Jennifer brings caregiving and procedural strengths to Rosemark. She has worked in an assisted living community as well as with physicians’ practices and medical foundations. As Rosemark’s assisted executive director, Jennifer helps our community remain on the leading edge of technology and training.

Jennifer made the journey into assisted living as a consumer when her great grandmother began showing signs of dementia. “Rosemark is far ahead of most communities in terms of quality care and beautiful accommodations,” she said.

A native of north Denver, Jennifer keeps busy on the weekends cheering on her son’s football team and attending her daughter’s musical and theater performances. The family also loves to camp and hike.

Health & Wellness Director

A licensed practical nurse, Jamie served as assistant health and wellness director and assisted living coordinator in a prominent Denver community before joining Rosemark. Here, she manages the health of all residents, assuring that assessments and care plans genuinely help residents thrive.

Working with older adults gives Jamie a sense of purpose and satisfaction. “I love getting to know each resident, being active in their care and expanding their possibilities through programs.”

The opportunity to shape the culture and policies of a new community was a major reason Jamie chose Rosemark. “This is a locally owned and operated community, which means new ideas can be put into effect immediately,” she said.

Growing up in metro Denver, Jamie’s grandfathers influenced her profoundly. Jamie and her mother took care of the men as they aged.

After hours, you’ll often find Jamie and her pup, a boxer mix, walking Washington Park. She is a voracious reader of Stephen King novels. Like most Colorado natives, Jamie loves the outdoors, especially dirt biking, boating, hiking, camping and fishing.

Our Live, Enrich, Aspire, Flourish activity director is a whirlwind of energy and ideas. Julie believes that providing positive environment is key to the well-being of our residents and the peace of mind of our family members. She is responsible for working with residents, families and staff to create and carry out an exciting calendar of events and activities to help residents maintain their different ability levels. Julie has been in the senior living field since 2009, when she graduated with a degree in human service management.

One of Rosemark’s first staff members, Nicole came to us with several years of experience working in larger senior living communities.

“Rosemark residents are genuinely happy and comfortable knowing that we’re a family. I’ve seen residents come to Rosemark from other communities and blossom. They open up, become more active, spend less time in their rooms and are more social. Because we mix residents from assisted living and memory support, they form real friendships. The staff does whatever it takes to divert or solve a situation. We care about residents as individuals, and they trust us.

The best part of my day is greeting residents in the morning because that sets their mood for the entire day. I love learning the life stories of our diverse population…. how they were raised and their backgrounds. It’s so different from my generation. I really enjoy working at Rosemark.”

Community Outreach and Sales Coordinator

Over the past decade, Erica has worked in nearly every aspect of senior living management, from financial operations to human resources to activities director. She has a passion for serving older adults and gently engaging them with humor. You’ll find Erica enthusiastic, open and warm. She has a knack for listening intently to the families who come through our doors, discerning what matters most to them, and genuinely addressing those concerns. She approaches every family as unique, and it shows in her attitude.

Erica is currently finishing her associates degree in health information technology. Her free time is devoted to her son and husband, scrapbooking and party planning.

Culinary Services Director

Caring for others is central to Elena’s character. Within the assisted living world, she has served as head chef, pastry chef and activities director. She has also been an addictions and eating disorders counselor. As our Culinary Services Director, Elena brings a deep understanding of our relationship with food – emotionally and nutritionally. Look forward to more delicious, satisfying meals from our kitchens, and even a British High Tea or two!

Todd’s biggest passion is cooking. He has been in the culinary industry for many years and gets great joy from seeing Rosemark residents happily eating his newest creations. Bringing a smile to residents’ faces brings a smile to his.

Todd grew up in Wisconsin and moved to metro Denver in 2005. He loves all things outdoors – hiking, snowboarding, disc golfing, biking, fishing and exploring Colorado’s many parks and peaks. Todd also excels in martial arts. He recently graduated from Heritage College with an Associates Degree in Personal Training.

Carrie’s warm smile and sunny personality make her the perfect first contact for guests and residents at the Rosemark front desk. Carrie believes life is what you make it, and that shows in her fun-loving nature.

Originally from Iowa, Carrie, her husband and two children have lived in central Denver since 1978. She has worked in customer service for more than 20 years and has over five years of experience as a senior caregiver.

Carol WeaverCarol Weaver

Carol has always been drawn to caring for others, especially older adults. She spent 17 years as registered nurse working within assisted living and retirement communities. Understanding and engaging others has been a driving force in her nursing career and life. As a Rosemark concierge, she can step back from nursing and connect with residents in new ways.

Her favorite pastimes are reading, gardening, music and family get-togethers. Carol and her grown children have made a sport out of scouting new coffee houses. Rosemark is particularly appealing to Carol because she can walk to work!

Patty MontoyaPatty Montoya

Patty joined the Rosemark team after watching the construction of our building from the ground up. Having been a neighbor to Mayfair Park for over 32 years. Patty loves the neighborhood and is happy to share all her favorite local spots with our residents and families.

Patty has many years of customer-service related jobs, including legal administrator, caterer and owner/operator of the concessions at a local athletic club.  She was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and landed in Denver after living in many cities on the west coast.  Patty looks forward to serving the residents at Rosemark!

Yanece Iniquez

Inspired by her 96-year-old great-grandfather, Yanece is drawn to the wit and deep character of older adults. Yanece is a former medical assistant, but shifted her career focus so that she could bring more warmth and personality to her interactions with seniors. She “loves what she does here at Rosemark.”

Raised in Colorado, Yanece and her husband have four young children. Together they visit local parks and explore new recipes.

Maintenance Supervisor

Kirk is part engineer, part artist. With a degree in electronics, he created remote control systems for windows and doors. As a construction contractor for more than twenty years, he retrofitted homes for the disabled and elderly to help them remain independent and ease the worry of family caregivers. He’s also a woodworker, restorer of antique furniture and all-around craftsman.

With parents who need a little extra help, Kirk is always thinking about how to make the lives of older adults easier. His construction experience and love of seniors drew him to Rosemark. Kirk has held maintenance positions at multiple senior living communities, as well as a major consumer warehouse retailer.

In his free time, Kirk hikes and supports his equally creative wife in her passion for crafting art from textiles, ceramics and recycled materials.
